How We Do It

For economically struggling schools, the YV Education in Music Foundation provides schools and teachers all the necessary resources needed to successfully prepare vocal music in classes and rehearsals throughout the school year.

The Young Voices Education in Music Foundation currently helps under-served elementary students and schools in the northeastern United States in the following metro areas:

  • Capital Region / Albany, NY

  • Providence, RI

Through local corporate donations we are able to work with 3,000 - 4,000 Title 1 students in Providence and Albany by giving their Music Teachers free materials and accompanying syllabus to change their classroom experience to a physical goal oriented program.

These students will end the year with an incredible experience mixing with thousands of diverse students from the Rhode Island & NY Capital District area with an arena concert for their community and parents that we are able to provide these disadvantaged students and their parents for free.

The increased sense of pride and accomplishment students, teachers, and families feel is brought back to their communities, reinvigorating teachers’ passion for their craft, students’ dedication and interest to their learning, and families’ connections with their children.

If you are interested in sponsoring or participating in one of these local programs, or in bringing the Foundation’s work and programs to your community, please email our team at team@foundationinmusic.org
